This guide is provided by M4SON and he’ll be showing you a F2P high level legendary arena deck. Check out his stream on YouTube for more guides for Clash Royale.
M4SON met an awesome player named “AwDaSea” from Clout Stars while playing in the PGL (Pro Gaming League) for Clash Royale. He played against this deck and was impressed by how well constructed it was. M4SON managed to take one game from AwDaSea but kept losing afterwards against the deck. AwDaSea was able to climb to Arena 9 (legendary arena) with only level 9 commons and level 7 rares.
Zap: One of the best spells in the game. It’s great for removing Minions, Minion horde, Skeletons and Goblins. Zap can be used for defense as well as offense. Zap synergizes well with Mini P.E.K.K.A, Musketeer and your Giant because it can instantly clear troops used as distractions and allow your units to get a few extra hits off on a tower.
Arrow: Arrow is another great spell that can be used for offense and defense. It’s usually saved for Minions or horde but it can also be used to snipe off an opponent’s Princess. This card is a must because this deck lacks air defense.
Goblins: This is a great card for cycling through your deck. It also can be used to distract several enemy troops such as the Prince, Knight, Mini P.E.K.K.A, ect. They can also be used to counter a Royal Giant if your opponent doesn’t have any support for him.
Mini P.E.K.K.A: A very strong card in today’s meta game. It’s great against the Hog Rider, Miner, Royal Giant and tanking units. It pairs nicely with the Giant and Valkyrie when used on offense. Send the Mini P.E.K.K.A behind your Giant and it can kill Barbarians in one hit with the help of your Zap spell. Zap isn’t needed when it’s sent with the Valkyrie.
Valkyrie: The Valkyrie is another strong card in the current meta game. It’s great for taking out Barbarians, shutting down cheap ground units and serving as a backup tank.
Giant: This is the main tanking unit of your deck. Let the Giant distract and soak up enemy fire while letting your troops deal all of the damage.
Musketeer: If left unchecked, she’s capable of dealing lots of damage. She requires a tanking unit (Giant or Valkyrie) to distract enemy units while she hangs back and dishes out the damage.
Elixir Collector: It’s used to gain an elixir advantage over your opponent. It’s a great card to have in an opening hand as it will force your opponent to make the first attack. Try to have two pumps active just as you hit the 1:00 mark and double elixir starts to kick in.
You’ll want to get down your Elixir Collector as fast as possible. If you’re lucky enough to get it on the opening hand, you can play it right away. If not, cycle through your deck to get it. Goblins are a great card to use for cycling. Place them at the bridge to get some chip damage against your opponent.
The next thing to focus on is figuring out your opponents playstyle. Once you’ve figured that out, you can save certain cards to counter their attacks. Mini P.E.K.K.A is great for countering Royal Giant, Hog Rider and tanks. Try to set up your defense so that you can turn it into a counter push by adding a Giant or Valkyrie to the front of your units.
By the 1:00 minute mark you’ll want to have two Elixir Collectors down. At this point, you’ll have a ton of extra resources and will be able to start overwhelming your opponents by defending attacks and setting up large counter pushes.
